Last summer, Jonathon Stewart and I went out to have an adventurous night at G2K in Norton, Virginia. We were going to play computer games all night long. We finally arrived there after an hour of driving and were anxious to play the new games. Little did I know, I would not be playing computer games that night.
As we go in the door I said, “Hey” to Jodi, the owner of G2K. Then, I paid my ten dollars to play the rest of the night. I sat down at my computer and started playing a game and I noticed I felt really weird. Jonathon yelled over at me, “Hey man what ya doing” and I could not talk back. Everything I said was slurred. I tried my best to speak but I could not. I did not know what was happening to me. The next thing I knew, I was waking up in the back of an ambulance. My head was pounding like drums and I was screaming my head off. Not being able to talk and waking up in an ambulance is very scary. The ambulance nurse quickly clamed me down. Soon we arrived at the hospital. The doctors ordered a series of tests and scans to determine what had happened.
But, I already knew what happened. I had a real bad seizure. I spent the night in the hospital and was released the following day without a conclusion of why I had the seizure. Each muscle in my body was hurting as if I worked out in the gym for 3 days straight. I also had a bruise on my forehead where I fell and hit the floor. My recovery took me several months. Even now there are days that I don’t feel myself. However, that terrifying night will always remain with me forever. Hopefully, I will not ever have another seizure but the doctors still don’t know what caused me to have a seizure.
